§ 57. SAME—ORDINANCES AUTHORIZED.

Said board of mayor and aldermen are hereby given the power to pass all ordinances necessary to collect the taxes which they are hereby authorized to levy as provided in and by sections 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 of said amendatory ordinance approved August 27th, 1898.
