§ 78. TAX COLLECTOR'S FEES.

All fees and commissions which the marshal of this municipality "as tax collector" is authorized to collect under the laws of this municipality in force at the time this ordinance is adopted and all fees and commissions which the clerk of the mayor and board of aldermen is by said laws authorized to collect shall be by the clerk of this municipality collected; and all such fees and commissions when collected shall be by the clerk turned into the treasury of this municipality to its credit, and no part of the same shall be retained by the clerk.
